According to its creators, The 2010 Vancouver Olympic Torch design is officially meant to resemble ski or snowboard tracks left in the snow but to most who see it, it looks almost undeniably like what got Mr. Rebagliati in hot water during the Nagano Games, (and more recently, swimmer Michael Phelps, just after his multiple victories last summer). Well the Toronto Star just ran a piece about this online today and here's the jist:

Hmmm....You'd think they would've realized this before they passed it ('pon de left hand side).
