Pick up any snowboard magazine from four or five years ago and you're pretty much guaranteed to look at half the riders inside and think to yourself, Oh yeah, I remember that guy. I wonder what he's doing now? It's an ugly reminder of the high turnover rate of pro snowboarders, but for the ones who consistently appear year after year, it's a testament to their work ethic and professionalism. Gaetan Chanut turned pro way back in 1997 and he's been holding it down in magazines and videos ever since. Mr. Chanut, we salute you.
