 Wow… If you were able to make it to Snowboard Canada’s 20th Anniversary Party presented by Monster Energy on Friday, congrats—it was one hell of a time. And if you couldn’t join us, we’ve got photos and video proof of what went down. We premiered Burton's Standing Sideways, Sandbox's Day and Age and Alterna's 13 O'Clock, had Trouble Andrew play a full set, and DJ Illo and DJ Pump spinning.
To help us celebrate, we had an amazing mix of pro riders there—young, old and legendary, including past and present cover boys: Risto Scott, Jon Cartwright, Trevor Andrew, Jesse Fox, TJ Scheinder, Mikey Rencz, Chris Rasman, Jesmond Dubeau, Mark Sollors as well as Mark McMorris, Danny Davis, Kazu Kokubo, Jussi Oksanen, Dustin Craven, Jack Mitrani, Ben Bilocq, Eero Ettala, Jon Kooley, Craig Beaulieu, Phil Jacques, Zac Stone, Scoty Brown, Andrew Skelhorn and countless others. In addition, we had lots of past and present staff: original art director Todd DeKoker, former editors Sean Litteljohn, Matt Houghton, current editor Scott Birke, current associate editor Jesse Fox, current art director Jeff Middleton, advertising director Matt Aiken and founding publisher Steve Jarrett to name a few—all in same room together for first time ever. In all, it was probably the biggest attendance of industry heavy hitters we’ve seen at a Canadian snowboard party. Check out all of the photos below of the night’s madness.
