What Burton has done with the Custom Flying V is create the everyman’s board. Stable. Good pop. And fun in pow. The Burton Custom is the board that was created for you to take everywhere with the peace of mind that you’ll be taken care of. No risk. Guaranteed to work.
The Custom Fling V is loaded with some high-tech features, like new frostbite edges that give you additional contact points under your feet and new flex features on top of their V-Rocker shape and channel system. You’ll have to exert some extra energy to keep your edge holding if you get super aggressive, but for all-around power riding, from park to pow, the custom is a reliable work-horse.
WHAT THE SBC TESTERS ARE SAYING:
Very stable · Fantastic for pow · A safe board · Great feel: “Incredibly stable at higher speeds. Loved it in the pow.”
Slight delay in pop requires learning curve, loses stability in super high-aggressive riding: “The pop was good once I got used to it.”
Cool Tech Features
