When you attach a turbo kit to a car, you get a boost in power. Meaning your car is more fun to drive. And that’s precisely what K2 has down with their Turbo Dream board. They’ve been around for quite a while and they’ve come up with some interesting tech that made the Turbo Dream another favourite among our testers.
The overall construction and set up for this board has a focus on all-mountain riding due to a set-back sense and a tapered tip and tail designed for swinging around effortlessly. The lively and snappy feeling comes from well constructed carbon core inserts in the nose and tail and the dampening system eliminates any pesky vibrations. Turns will take getting used to, but with fantastic edge hold, stable hold through turns and through your landings, what you get with the Turbo Dream is a fun and responsive ride.
WHAT THE SBC TESTERS ARE SAYING:
Fantastic edge hold, effortless pop, super responsive
“Edging on the groomers was absolutely beautiful. Popping ollies was effortless as was stomping in the deep and shallows.
“This board was fun and responsive. Great stability and edge hold, it was lively and snappy!”
Turning has a slight learning curve.
“The nose might give out a bit.”
