Progression is integral to snowboarding. And while season after season we witness a constant flood of new tricks and terrain, board companies are hard at work, researching and developing to build the best boards possible. Enter GNU. One of the stand outs of the entire SBC Grade EH Board Awards Tests, the GNU Park Pickle, hand built by snowboarders at Mervin Mfg is a marvelous feat of seamless tech and rideability.
A super fun twin shape, pickle tech, banana tech, magne-traction and a sustainable wood core, it’s a wonder that all this technology doesn’t get in the way of how the Park Pickle rides. In fact you don’t even notice all the tech at work, kind of like a super exotic European sports car – a lot under the hood, but all you feel is the excitement.
If it’s your first time riding banana or magne-traction you’re in for surprise and treat. The park pickle won’t ride like you expect it to, but like only a handful of SBC's favourites, this will you have laughing till the bottom of the pickle jar. Certified fresh.
WHAT THE SBC TESTERS ARE SAYING:
Great turns · Nice Shape · Fun to ride · Tech helps and stays out of the way · Nice pop · Stable
“By far, the best park board I have ridden as of yet. Great pop, great turning, fun shape. The perfect park board.”
“Wow. You’d think that with all the tech going on wit this board that it would feel strange at first. Not the case. It butters, holds an edge, pops. So much fun.”
“An excellent park board. Very fun to ride and stable on jumps. One of my favourites so far.”
Won’t ride the way you think it will
